About Us

Or do people tend to lose their minds when preparing for a wedding, welcoming home a new baby, or after somebody dies? Why? Because these events are life changing “people go crazy” events. The irony, is that the preparations for the wedding and the new baby took the better part of at least a year. People have not only been thinking about them, but they’ve been planning for them. Buying things (some of which they don’t need, I’m looking at you baby onesies size 0), reserving expensive venues (that at least three people will complain about), taking time off from work (which they’ll pay for when they get back), and organizing lots of people (some of whom could stay home), who will play a part in these people go crazy events. People have falling outs and falling ins about the details of these things, when really a new baby is only new for a year or two, and the wedding is only for the one day. But the end of life which eventually comes to us all, or even a sudden sickness is not given any thought. What happens if you get so sick that you end upon in the hospital? Who pays your rent or mortgage? Who takes care of your children? Who feeds your pets or lets them out for the bathroom? Estate plans are about legacy and property as much as they are about people and family. Grief is a powerful emotion and interferes with the sound reason that most people possess. Together we can make a plan that allows your family and friends to lean on one another for support, instead of an all too likely scenario in which your sickness or end of life becomes another people go crazy event. We’d love to talk. Your first thirty minute consultation is free!
